Senior Photography - Common Questions

Do you have an indoor portrait studio?
I do not have an indoor portrait studio. All of my sessions are conducted on location and during Covid-19, I only offer outdoor photo shoots. Visit my safety practices page for more details.

Before you book a session, please check with your high school yearbook coordinator to see if an outdoor portrait is acceptable for the yearbook. Some high schools require studio lighting and specific backgrounds for their yearbook photos.

When is the best time to schedule my senior portrait session?
Every school has a different deadline for their yearbook photo submissions. Be sure to check with your school, the sooner you book the better. I offer year-round photo shoots. We can shoot your senior pictures in the snow, fall leaves, under the summer sun or in the springtime.

What time of day is best for Portraits?
2-3 hours before sunset or after sunrise usually offers the best lighting for portraits.

How much do senior picture sessions cost?
Sessions start at $185. Visit my senior session pricing page for more details.

Where do the senior sessions take place?
Your session will take place at an outdoor location of your choosing. I can provide suggestions for nice spots within eastern Massachusetts; Boston, MetroWest, North Shore, South Shore and Cape Cod.

How long will my senior photography session take?
Your session can be booked for 30 or 60 minutes. Sixty minute sessions include time for an outfit change.

What is the turn around on my images?
You will receive a link to your private image gallery 1-2 weeks after your session.

Can I bring props to the session?
Yes if you'd like a prop to be included in your photographs, feel free to bring it! Examples of props you might choose to include; athletic equipment, musical instrument, a camera if you're a photographer! etc.

What should I wear for my senior pictures?
I want you to feel comfortable so I suggest wearing clothes that you can move freely in. Click on this link: what to wear for ideas and tips.

What happens after my session?
After your session, we’ll discuss when you can expect your photographs to be available for viewing in your online gallery. You will have 10 days to view your online gallery and complete your order.
